Lefki is a Human Resource Management Specialist with focus of interest in the areas of Leadership, Change Management and Organisational Learning processes. She has previously worked in the academia for twenty consecutive years being a research-active lecturer in Greek Technological Universities as well as in universities in the UK, namely, Roehampton and Brunel in London, UK. She has also been the head of the Foreign Languages Centre in the Technological University of Sterea Ellada, Greece for 8 consecutive years.
• Since 2006, with a particular focus in the area of training and development of executive staff she has been leading in –house training and change management projects in big organisations aiming at people’s outperformance towards sustaining their business growth.
• Lefki for the last two consecutive years has been working as a Training & Development Consultant with the Hellenic Management Association, a leading training organisation in Greece, mainly in an advisory role for the promotion of Investors In People Model in Greek Local Authorities; she is also a certified senior trainer of Dale Carnegie USA and Achieve Global USA Training Organisations. She is a certified Assessor of the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM). She has authored and co-authored academic textbooks and research papers and she has participated in academic conferences. She is a board member of the International Telework Academy and active member of the Women’s Entrepreneurs Institute and the Human Resource Management Institute in HMA in Greece.
Lefki is currently is undertaking academic research in: ICT-supported Communication & Leadership Practices in digitalised environments of Local Authorities in Europe with the Business School in Brunel University London, UK.
